Gascoyne Food Festival
The 2016 Gascoyne Food Festival is back this August, Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th! The Gascoyne Food Festival celebrates the abundance of locally produced fruits, vegetables, beef and seafood, and the rich history and significance of the horticultural, pastoral and seafood industries within the Gascoyne region.
The festival attracts locals and tourists alike, food lovers from near and far-flung places seeking out a unique culinary experience. Set against the backdrop of the mighty Gascoyne river and the red dirt of the fertile horticultural lands and desert, the festival locations of Carnarvon and Exmouth boast the idyllic, laid-back charm of regional Western Australia with all the modern amenities and attractions needed to keep you comfortable and entertained throughout the Festival weekend. This years comprehensive program has something for everyone including;

- Chef & Industry Paddock Tour
- The Chef’s Long Table Lunch
- Gascoyne Growers Markets – fresh local produce, arts & crafts
- Gascoyne Food Festival Marquee with live cooking demonstrations at the Growers Markets
- Surf & Turf on Sunrise Beach, Novotel Ningaloo Exmouth
Chef’s for 2016 include local favourites WA Food Ambassador Don Hancey and his team from Panorama Catering, renowned WA chef’s Peter Manifis and Greg Farnan, together with 8 of Perth’s top chef’s from first-rate dining favourites The Flour Factory, Kent Street Deli, Manuka Woodfire Kitchen, Petition and more. Tickets to all events are on sale from Wednesday 13th July and available through the Carnavon Visitors Centre.
