Gascoyne Food Festival
The 2017 Gascoyne Food Festival is back this August, Thursday 10th – Saturday 19th! The Gascoyne Food Festival celebrates the abundance of locally produced fruits, vegetables, beef and seafood, and the rich history and significance of the horticultural, pastoral and seafood industries within the Gascoyne region.
The festival attracts locals and tourists alike, food lovers from near and far-flung places seeking out a unique culinary experience. Set against the backdrop of the mighty Gascoyne river and the red dirt of the fertile horticultural lands and desert, the festival locations of Carnarvon and Exmouth boast the idyllic, laid-back charm of regional Western Australia with all the modern amenities and attractions needed to keep you comfortable and entertained throughout the Festival weekend. This years comprehensive program has something for everyone including;

- BBQ on the Beach
- The Chef’s Long Table Lunch
- Gascoyne Growers Markets – fresh local produce, arts & crafts
- Gascoyne Food Festival Marquee with live cooking demonstrations at the Growers Markets

Chef’s for 2017 include local favourites WA Food Ambassador Don Hancey and his team from Panorama Catering, renowned WA chef Peter Manifis, together with 8 of Perth’s top chef’s from first-rate dining favourites, Don Tapa, Young George, Hamptons City Beach, The Flour Factory and more.
